Clipping Coupons

I had a my first child this year and am now a stay at home mom. I wasn't use to staying at home and not being at work and needed something to do. I started printing off coupons and really getting into this about a month ago.

Kroger:
It took me a while to realize my local Kroger had double coupons. It's not really advertised anywhere except the ad on occasion. They double all coupons valued up to a $1. That's awesome and I tend to get stuff free.

I have been  able to score free Colgate Toothbrushes, Playtex gloves, Wheat Thins, Chi Chi's meals, Dannon Yogurt, various pastas, Idahoan potatoes, Bush's Grillin beans and the list goes on and on.
The photo below was $1.19

Walgreens:
Many blogs push the register rewards as a part of Walgreens. I think they are a great bonus but I don't look at stuff being free if I have to pay for it in any way. I know that Walgreens gives a register reward on certain items and it can be used on your next purchase but I still had to pay for something. So I look for items that are on sale that I have a coupon for. You can stack a Walgreens coupon with a manufacturer coupon. Recently I have been able to score free Nivea Lip products, Nivea body wash, and Coffee Mate creamer.

Rite Aid:
I started couponing with Rite Aid. They take Rite Aid coupons (http://my.adperk.com) stacked with manufacturer coupons. They have Up Rewards. Again, I don't look at and rewards if I have to pay for it. It still doesn't make all of it FREE. Up Rewards are coupons on the bottom of the receipt for next purchase. It may only be $1 or $2. You have to make sure not to throw them away with your receipt. I've been able to get many of items free or nearly free. In the photo below I was able to get 3 gallons of water, 2 Jiffy Pop single popcorn, Wet n' Wild mascara, 2 Ace Cold packs and Maybelline Eye Studio eyeshadow for $0.19.
