Kroger New eCoupon Policy

Many people will have extra work for themselves now that Kroger is enforcing the eCoupon policy. I was shopping at my local Kroger in Michigan and the cashier told me that starting in mid-March you can no longer use an eCoupon and paper coupon together on one item. The catch is that if you don't go onto your Kroger account and delete any coupon that you don't want to interfere with your paper coupon you might lose out at the register. The Kroger register system will alert the cashier that a duplication has occurred but you won't be able to chose the coupon with the most value. The register will simply reject one. My understanding is that the eCoupon automatically comes off after an item is scanned. That means if your local Kroger doubles paper coupons and you DON'T do this extra work, you will only get the eCoupon which does NOT double. I might just delete all my eCoupons on Kroger until I know I will be buying something with it. I don't want to risk having a problem at the register.
